Hip Hop Duo Mother Nature A Positive Force For Change

The Pygmalion Festival in Champaign brings together artists, musicians and intellectuals from across the country. It wraps up this weekend. Last year, it helped bring together two local rappers - and resulted in their collaboration.

In the past year Mother Nature took the Champaign scene by storm and were an integral part of the local Black Lives Matter chapter - they have recently moved to Chicago. The hip hop duo released a self-titled album this spring - and they perform again at this year's Pygmalion fest - you can catch them Friday night.

We spoke with T.R.U.T.H & Klevah Knox right after their move to Chicago about #blackgirlmagic, activism, and what they believe to be real roots of hip hop: seeds for positive growth and change. Tune in:
